Records sound but no video

I record side by side but when trying to replay the video i can only hear sound. The capture screen is black.

Make sue you are using the latest version of both our program and of Skype. Also, verify that Skype was closed (quit) and not open in the taskbar when doing a recording. Have the program set to start automatically when windows starts and to start recording automatically when Skype starts.

Black screen again: I have version 1.3.0.12 of Replay Telecorder, and version 6.10.0.104 Skype

There should be a utility for skype to check if yuo have your video turn on. I had this issue once and I just enabled my video. It was a new install by the way.
