Freecorder extension on Google Chrome problem

Hi.

I've used Freecorder 7 for a while now and I wanted to try the Freecorder 8. So, I've deleted the pluggin from my Google Chrome, then installed Freecorder 8. There's no pluggin shown whatsoever, even in the other browser that I never used. Something is wrong.

I've installed the toolbar instead (but HATE it, it's really slow and isn't as easy to use as the pluggin).

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Am I doing something wrong?

I've tried uninstalling f8, then installing f7 again, won't work either. It's like Chrome doesn't want me to install Freecorder anymore now that I deleted it... Weird

Just to clarify, freecorder is not supported via this forum - hence there being no public portion of the site dedicated to it.
