Default RMC 2.10D Hangs - Vista Home

RMC 2.10D Hangs - Vista Home

When I try to start RMC in Home Vista it just hangs & I have to kill it with Task Manager.

I recently installed Roxio's Easy Media Creator 10...that might be the issue?

I went in & made sure Vista's horrid UAC was turned off & it is.

Default Solved - RMC 2.10D Hangs - Vista Home

    Problem Solved

Applian Technical advised me make sure UAC (User Acct Controls) were turned off (again), They were.

Then they advised me to download a tiny app that deletes the registration/serial info in specific Replay apps. (I recall in the old days Replay had us go to the registry & edit the info ourselves--this is easier!),

    Then I re-entered ny serial.

    Worked.

How can I get this working? I had RMC 2 but it was hanging so I uninstalled and now have a trial of RMC 3 but it is hanging on startup (on Vista).
FYI, I am also running ReplayAV.
