AV8 Does not detect valid internet connection

Could anyone please help? I can run AV8 on my PC when directly connected to my Router/modem via a cable - but when I attempt the same over a wireless connection - no joy. From other posts, I guess that this is a problem with AV8 detecting my Broadcom wireless PCI Card (I have checked all firewall settings in McAfee and allowed AV8).

Is there a simple fix here - or am I off to Broadcom support?! Can proxy settings help?

I am no expert but I would really appreciate some help here.

Unfortunately the program does not recognize most PC Cards. It will recognize it if it is in a router, however. I have a Sprint card in a router that I purchased through Sprint and it works great. It will work to record for you but it won't find the URL's of new items with a PC card.
