    Default Freecorder 5 "Script Error"

    I use FC 5.
When I stop music recording (I want to save it), I get a msg titled "Script Error" and get the choice to continue running scripts... "Yes" or "No".
More info on in the msg:

The value of the property "$" is null or undefined...

It didn't happen in FC 4.

    (Yes, I un/reinstalled.)

BTW: I don't see here a way to paste ot attach a file from my computer (a picture for example).

Sorry to hear you are having some troubles with Freecorder. Browser crashes are usually the result of another program clashing with Freecorder. Here is a list of things that we know can cause this problem:

    Ad-Muncher
    LiveMesh
    CounterSpy
    SpySweeper
    ZoneAlarm
    CA Anti-Spyware Utility
    Comodo
    Vista Transformation Pack
    Net Nanny
    Threatfire
    Trusteer Rappoirt
    PCTools
    Avast
If you have any of these or a similar app running on your computer, try shutting them down while Freecorder is running. If it is not one of the known apps this can be difficult to pinpoint.
Another suggestion is to look for FLVsrvc.exe as a process in the windows Task Manager. If you find it, end that process.

    Hello Jeff.
    Thank you for responding.
It is not the browser that crashes. I get a popup error message.
I continue to work and get the work done: I get the recording.
    BTW: I have Win 7 x64 and I use IE 9.
Is there a way to attach a file ? as they say "a picture is better than thousand words".

Hey there, thanks for your response. Do me a favor and submit a ticket and attach the file there for us :-)

I work that queue too and will most likely be the one to respond as well.
