Demo Questions

I am brand new to digital music. I downloaded the demo and used it to record several songs from Pandora. It seemed to work fine. I do have a couple of basic questions.
The files have the extension .m4a. I am not sure what this means.
The file names are alphanumeric, not the artist, etc. Is this a limitation of the demo which will resolve if I purchase full version?
I tried to use the extract mp3 file function, but no files were present in the My Recordings folder. Is this also a limitation of the demo version?

Okay m4a file seems to be iTunes music files...which are encoded with DRM which will not allow you to convert it. What you may wanna try is Replay Music from Applian and, use that to capture audio streams to mp3 rather then encryped files. That site you mentioned, Pandora.com seems to lack in music availability...
