I can only get 6 seconds of anything, wether i take it from the internet or convert one of my own files.

Bump this, as I'm getting shortened mp3 conversions as well.
The videos I'm capturing from YouTube are the correct length, but the converted MP3s for some reason are shortened to just around a minute. And we're talking about 4 to 9 minute videos using my last two attempts.

Please uninstall, reboot and reinstall Freecorder from the link below:
http://www.applian.com/freecorder4/download.php
Also, here is a link to properly uninstall Freecorder:

Please make sure that you have administrative rights and that you disable any anti virus software you are running while installing Freecorder.
Lastly, please make sure that Freecorder toolbar is enabled in your Firefox browser (If applicable).
