Default Sites successful to record from using Media Catcher

I cannot seem to find a list of sites users have been successful in recording from. I have tried comcast, hulu, and others to attempt to record movies and TV programs. Can we generate a list of successful sites?

    Hi Didds

There are a few lists that we have internally of sites we've done testing on, but as there are literally Tens of Thousands of websites with streaming media out there, it's not something we have posted anywhere. :-)

    Try this: http://www.applian.com/

Type in a website you're looking to record and hit "show me" - it'll give you the program(s) we recommend for that particular site.
    Best Regards,

You can enter the web-site name on www.applian.com and it will show you what product to use for recording

    Hi ddids,

You can't records with Media Catcher from Hulu, but I have found out that if you go directly to the website that the video come's from you can record directly from the actual site. With a few exceptions of course.

For example: ABC shows on HULU - No luck. But go directly to http://vp2.abc.com/watch/shows and you can record from there (with a few exceptions of course - Like ABC Family sites).

    Hope that helps! Enjoy recording.
