At the moment RVC is (in my humble opinion) only a standard screen grabber like many in the world wide web while it could be so much more.
Screen Grabbing of internet video streams has many special requirements compared to a normal screen grabbing as:

Internet video streams can get stuck and have annoying pauses due to a general slow internet connection or maybe a seldom occurring internet bandwidth shortage. While a screen grabber in the first place does just grab the screen it could afterwards automatically analyze the grabbed stream also automatically remove a standstill screen at the beginning and a standstill screen at the end and remove unwanted pauses in between. The analysis of the audio track can help to decide what to cut, as the parts devoid of noises most likely will be the unwanted parts. It may make sense to offer the user the possibility to adjust the automatically proposed cuts.
