Default AV8 records at high speed

Quite a few files AV8 recorded at high speed. They are converted to mp3 and play, but twice or more times faster. I tried several repair programs but nothing helps. Is there a way to fix it?

That's a weird one. I think mp3's have some "time base code" or something that defines the play speed, and that must be messing up somewhere along the line. I presume that you've tried other mp3 players to listen to the file. The VLC player is free, and simple, and has a lot of built-in codecs. I use Goldwave to edit mp3's. It has a "time warp" feature that will allow you to use "Rate" which changes the pitch (what you want to use), and also has "Similarity" which will not change the pitch.

I'm not sure if this is an mp3 problem, or of native format of AV8. I always use convert to mp3 after recording.
