If not, right click anywhere in the box's white space, tick both "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices." If Stereo Mix is an option, it will now show, so click on it, then click Enable (choose it as Default, too, if you want).
Replay AV is shortly to be replaced by a "new radio-oriented recording solution." Applian software mavens: Kindly design this forthcoming offering so Stereo Mix is no longer needed to record and listen simultaneously. Right now, sans Stereo Mix you can use the Replay driver to turnkey record, but then have to manually click Tune to Station. For our application, at any rate, this is a total non-starter, forcing us to purchase HP devices (ugh) and the like because unlike Dell they didn't sign off with RIAA to delete Stereo Mix.
