Default No Pause Button on Replay Video Capture

I purchased and installed Replay Video Capture 4.2 last evening. The documentation indicates that the "Play" button should change to "Pause" after the recording is started. I'm finding that I can record as expected but the Play button/caption does not change to "Pause". This seems like a bug. Is there any workaround to this?

Try to switch the recording format to MPEG-2.

Thanks, I got the following response from Cheril Wester; I'm posting it in case someone has the same problem.

The pause button feature is when you use MPEG 2 for recording. It is not available for windows media format due to how it works. Thanks.
