    Default Automatically mute speakers

I just posted this in the reply to the previous thread, but thought others might be interested too. If you forget to turn your speakers off, automatic recording can catch you by surprise at night or at work. I found this program at...

...which will keep things quiet when you start up your comptuer. It lets us forgetful folks control our speakers. Hopefully we'll be able to download the streams from clearchannel again soon!

Good trick thanks! My pc woke me up last night with a rather loud mail alert, due to me forgetting to turn off my audio. This tool would have been useful.

And my fingers are crossed for clear channel as well - I know it's being looked into.
    Best Regards,

Glad you'll get some good use from the auto-mute program. Just make sure you don't mute the speakers if you use the computer as an alarm clock!
