Problem: Can record streaming audio, but not sound from my audio card but the test showed no sound

I tried to record sound from my audio card but the test showed no sound. I can record streaming audio. What can I do to correct this problem.

Just in case, make sure you check your folder for your recording. I've found sometimes the recording graph shows no movement, but I just happened to check the folder and there it was and it worked fine.
