Default Freecorder 4 - Skipping While Recording

Noticed some .mp3 files are skipping during the recording process, rendering the file a much shorter duration than original. I recently changed virus protections. Thinking that might be the problem, I disabled the protection during the recording process. Still experience skipping.

Does it skip useful content or silence only?

It skips actual audio. Like it is fast forwarding.

If you experience stream buffering, Freecorder 4 won't be able to restore skipped segments. If you don't have problems playing your streams, but they are not recorded properly, please post a specific URL so that the developer can try to replicate the problem.

Not sure if it does it on all sites. In particular, I have observed the recording graph freezing up on the music player provided by Zune. This freezing is causing the skipping heard during playback.

What type of computer are you using? Also, what processor do you have and how many GB of ram are you using?

    Thanks!
