New User - Audio is not recording continuously

First time I used the audio recorder it worked properly. I'm trying to record about two minutes of Air Traffic Control communications but the audio recorder is breaking each voice communiction into a separate files. So instead of one complete two minute file I have about 12 files. Can't figure out why this is occurring, can anyone help me out?
