Default Odd? MPEG-2 and WMV recordings are not supported by Replay Media Splitter

I am frustrated because when I capture I choose Mpeg-2 and sometimes WM9, however when I then go to transfer to Video Splitter it wont accept? Now I can understand that maybe that is done on purpose so people then buy the converter, but if thats so then its sad as it is a pain having to do so many tweaks and conversions within replay to ever get anywhere. Great software spoild by complexity when it needn't be. I would like to just capture drag drop select section and cut and be done with it. Any chance it may be siplified in the future?

    Thank you

It is not always easy to make all the programs work with the same formats and codecs. We do our best but sometimes it simply can't be done.

Hi Cheryl, I understand, its just one would think if you capture using replay video capture the video will work in replay video splitter as its the same company.
