radiocomercial.clix.pt: recording radio from silverlight player. Please help

Hello.
I am very new to this but have tried to make a recording of some live radio. When i play it back the sound is very distorted. do i need to change the file to a different format in order to hear it properly or is the programme just not able to record live radio.,
Would be very greatful for any response / help!

Hi,

Which programa re you using to record the live radio stream? What is the live radio stream - please provide the call letters or the home page URL. THe best program to use for recording radio shows and stations is Replay AV. It will capture the native file data. You can then play it back in its native format or convert it to a format of your choice. In either case, there should be no distortion. Check out Replay AV here: http://www.applian.com/replay-av/

I made the recordings using freecorder. Wish i had posted this before though, as i would have used the programme you suggested! I dont suppose there is a way of 'undistorting' my recordings??!!

Hi,

You can stream capture this audio stream using Replay AV if you use the following URL: http://195.23.102.196/comercialcbr20...krndigual58145
The stream capture method will download the file data and be an exact duplication of the stream. I have added Radio Comercial to our database so that one can Add the station from our Medoa guide for easy recording with Replay AV as well as listening.

I don't know of a way to undistort a file that is already created.
