    Default Jumpy Start to Recordings

The first second of a recorded track has a "jump" on it - the track doesn't start smoothly but almost jerks into life.
Has anybody else had this problem and found a solution?

Yes, I am having the same problem. It jumps after two seconds in Napster and it has small breaks that I can hear but its very small throughout. Tried uninstalling, rebooting and reloading but did not work. Also turned off firewall andset control to never. I have to use my old laptop to record because the new one is the only one that does this.
