    Why does stream capture the BBC "Listen Again" as asf files? Can it be persuaded to provide MP3's

    Hi Chris,

    The native streaming format dictates the stream capture file format. In this case, the .asx files are Windows Media streams which create an .asf file. There is no way to force or change this to another format during the capture process. But, one can easily convert the recorded file to MP3 or other desired format post recording. You can do this automatically by selecting the desired format from the drop down menu in the "After Recording, Convert to" field in the Basic tab of the Properties window.
