Can't Play back Video Capture

I have read all the directions so please do not send me to the help. I recorded a program from netflix. I then renamed the name but left the extension alone as a .flv. I right click to play it and nothing happens. I also can't seem to save it once I shut down it's gone and there is no history. I don't know what I am doing wrong please help.

AFAIK Replay Video Capture can record into MPG or WMV, so use only these file extensions.
