RMC failing to capture more and more streams

I guess it's because commercial broadcasters are increasingly serving content using Adobe Secure RTMP or SWF verification, but this also means that RMC's obsolescence is irreversible. I know the recommended 'solution' is to use RVC, but it's a real PITA and means that you can't use your computer while recording.

Is RMC going to simply fade away or does Applian have any plans to revive it?
