    Default Timed recordings

    Hello all,

Does anyone know how to set up a timed recording with freecorder 3? I'm on Windows XP for this set up and, specifically, would like to set up a program to open a website, open freecorder, start recording at time A, and stop recording at time B. If the website has to stay open for longer that is fine, if the program will shut everything back down then that is an added bonus. I would really like to record a radio program I like from six to ten in the morning. I will be in class by 8 so always miss half of the show and often don't catch most of the first half from getting ready. This seems like it would be extremely useful so I'm assuming there is a way to do it, but if there isn't then I'll post it in the "new ideas" section.

    Thanks for any help!

There is a great way to do scheduled recordings but not with Freecorder which is a basic audio recording program and has no scheduling capability. You would want to use Replay A/V which is designed for scheduled recordings of ones favorite radio shows. The program will start recording at the start time, stop recording at the end time and save the recorded file to a format of your choice. You can check out some guidelines and download from here:
