Does Replay Video Capture and buffering

Does Replay Video Capture record exactly what is shown on the screen? Some of the video I want to capture is from sites that get busy and cause the media player to stop to buffer input. Not knowing how it works, whether it captures the media before display or actual display, I just wanted to check.
