using rcp , captures movie ok, then write to DVD, plays 2x normal(video and sound).

any ideas will help

That's strange- when you play them back on your pc BEFORE you burn them, do they play back with regular speeds/

Also, what dvd/cd burning software are you using?

Make sure you are converting to MPEG 2 when burning a DVD. What speed is the original? Is it slower than the standard for a DVD? Thanks.
