Default Recording Video (TV shows/movies) from fancast

Hopefully this is the right section to post this.
I downloaded the free version in order to record Shows/movies from fancast.
Is there some trick to this or can I not record videos from this version like I was led to believe?

    Thanks

Which program are you using? Replay Media Catcher will not work with this site. We recommend using Replay Video Capture here.

Gee somehow I thought that this software was associated with this forum.
I downloaded a free tool bar with the ask search engine that was adverised as a free video and audio recorder. I can't find the name of the program but I do think it is Replay Media catcher.

However it looks as if my question has been answered.
There is no FREE video recorder????

Ask & Record Toolbar can save HTTP videos for free.

Replay Media Catcher is not freeware and it is not a toolbar, but it can record much more videos.

Are videos from fancast HTTP videos? If so how do you do it? I tried letting the movie play once and then save it and it says that there is no movie to save.

Fancast is not HTTP it is RTMPE. Media Catcher cannot capture this encrypted format. You will need to use a screen recorder such as Replay Video Capture.

On the following web-page you can find what software Applian recommends for a particular web-site:
