Thumbs down Record from file played with Windows Media Player

I have Replay Capture Suite, and I would like to know how to:

    1. Record sounds that are played with Windows Media Player, e.g. playing sound effects with Windows Media Player and capturing them with a Replay product the way I hear them on my PC speakers
    2. Record mixed music played with WMP and whatever comes from the microphone

    Thanks,
    Don

There is probably more than one way to do this. I would use Replay A/V because that is the one I am most familiar with. Create a new show and go to the Recording tab. Select Capture by Recording Audio Output. That will record everything that is played through the speakers. Start the show recording in Replay A/V and then start up any audio-producing program you like. Stop the recording in Replay A/V when you are done and it will save the recording on your computer.
