    Default Kbps setting

The default Kbps setting on my RM 3 recorder set at 128. Does anyone know if changing the setting to a higher number increases the quality of the recording?

The best thing for you to do is give it a try and see how it works. I generally record at 128 unless what I'm recording has a higher bitrate then I change it. Each person's ears are different so often what is noticable to one is not to the other.

Hi, always set RM at a slighly higher bitrate than the original track.
Doing that you'll limitate the quality loss that occurs during the transcoding.

    Bye.
