Default recording from widescreen DVD to fullscreen WMV or MPEG-2

Im recording from widescreen DVD to either WMV or Mpeg2 and I want the recorded video to be standard full screen. Any ideas? The reason for this is that I am making a Halloween show that incorporates video using media player. Some of my videos are normal full screen and some are widescreen. If I change aspect ratio in media player to accomedate the wide screen then the full screen is too small and vice versa.

Replay Video Capture is going to record what it sees. You might need to convert from one format to another to get them all about the same size. You are able to do a conversion using Replay Converter.
