Default WM Capture: Map a recording window using something like the selection tool in a paint program

The "Window" setting with two boxes is a pain. It would be much easier to map a recording window using something like the selection tool in a paint program.

Thanks for the suggestion. The WM capture is exactly the same as Replay Video Capture. For future reference this forum is for the Applian line of products.

I spoke with our programmer about this suggestion - here is what he said.
The problem is how you fine tune the two points. Even though, I like the idea.
So basically, it probably won't happen anytime soon unfortunately, as the 2 points that create the recording box are created/set via VERY precise registry entries for points on the monitor.

Hang in there though, you never know what'll happen. :-)
    Best Regards,

Besides markers you can use the Get Windows button.

Also in Replay Video Capture 5 you can go to Settings -> Video Capture Options and set markers to the specified width/height.
