    Default Record from Deezer.com

RMC used to be able to record music from deezer.com using web stream dumper
few days ago,Deezer changed its streaming technology, the web stream dumper can only dump the 400kb chunks, not the full song

is there any way to record full song from deezer.com or join the 400kb chunk into one single file?

    thanks

Weird. The 400kb chunk is actually also separated into multiple files. I don't think that there is any easy way to join these files because they are technically not mp3 files. Replay Music is probably the best way to record from this site.

well,i believe they are .flv files, because it shows video/flv in the content type
what do you mean the 400kb chunks are also separated into multiple files?
i can get all the full 400kb chunks

If you watch the file as it finishes. It will stop at 400kb then fluctuate - the tag will end up saying something like "webdump(7).tmp" meaning seven files were created in this one stream. Check your storage directory and you will see seven files. They are doing some really weird streaming - most likely to keep people from downloading.

If other stream providers adopt this technic we're screwed !!
Moreover Deezer does not leave any silence between songs; so even Replay Music is useless.

    as far as i know
the only website i cant capture the full song from is Deezer.com
i havent tried Replay Music, how does it work to download music?
there's always a direct sound recorder to record sound from your computer, but you cant expect good quality

    Hi Noob!!
In fact Replay Music does not capture the stream. It records it using a special sound device that makes a copy with the same sound quality as the original (i've made blind tests and i could not tell the difference).

But in order to have separate Mp3's the stream must leave blanks between each tune or Replay Music won't be able to make the cut and you'll end with one gigantic file.

That's why using this soft with Deezer or Sirius is useless.

If all those services start using Deezer's stream method and does not leave any silence between tracks that would mean the end of online recording!!

    hi maxrenn
    thanks for your replies

but every music sites do have silence moment when they switch between songs
the problem with Replay Music (or other sound recorders) recording from Deezer.com is that sometimes deezer buffers a lot, that will leave silence in the song
this does not work good at all,and i have good internet connection
