Default Downloading Stops After Working for a While

    Dear Support,

I have successfully used RMC to download some videos. However, when working with the following link:

    http://www.nationmultimedia.com/spec...News&cateid=13

the downloading would perform for a while and then stopped somewhere on the way for an unknown reason at all times, displaying an exclamation mark (!). This problem occurred on both IE7 and Google Chrome.

    Please advise.

    Prasert

Can you tell me what the error says when you get the exclamation point?

To Tasha: There was nothing but a short sound and then an icon that looked like a magnifying glass, followed by an exclamation point in red.

To Carlobee: No, because I didn't use Firefox.

The exclamation point signifies an error - double click and tell me what the error is. Thank you.

    The error message says:

From Plugin: Capture HTTP Media Streams

    Data Saved: 2,275/195,869 kb. Rate: 23.02 kb/sec

There was either an error, or the download was canceled.
Media was saved as a partial file.

My problem looks the same as that of Pegasus: "Limited Recording Size".

The Pegasus post is a non-issue. That is the size of the completed file. I am able to record from this site. The error that you are getting is a connection related error. Your connection is being dropped. Do you have a slow internet connection? have you tried closing out the video when media Catcher picks up the stream?

My internet connection should not be so slow. It is wireless, connected through a leased line. I have tried closing the video when downloading - the program still keeps working to some point before stopping. Could you try downloading from this site?

I was able to get one video and then I also got this error. The videos on the site are very choppy and buffer quite often. It's a connection issue with the site. Replay Video Capture probably wouldn't be a good alternative because of the buffering.
