Unhappy Cannot convert FLV to other viewable formats

I Just purchased the Replay Capture Suite and used Replay Media Capture to download an FLV file from ABC News. The resulting FLV file played perfectly. I then tried to use Replay Converter to convert the FLV into 800 kbps files in AVI, MPEG4 and MOV formats. None of them were playable. In each case, the video would open and play, but with a picture that was almost completely black; the audio was fine. I also tried converting at 450 kbps and had the same result. This was a clean first time install (with re-boot) on a fast 6-month old XP workstation with a video card and plenty of RAM.

Is there a fix, or should I request a refund?

Smile FIXED -- something had messed up my graphics setting

Somehow the video settings for my nVidia graphics card had been messed up. All is fine now.
