Question Trouble Recording Volume Level I Am Hearing?

I have been using freecorder to record audio files, but they seem to record at a different volume that I am hearing them at. I know that the software is recording through the soundcard, but am not sure how to change this???? Any help is appreciated??

What version of Freecorder are you using-the desktop or the toolbar? Also, you might get better assistance if you post this in the forum for the program you are using. Thanks.

I am using the toolbar version 1.5.41.0. If I am having trouble here I may redirect this request to a more specific forum. Thank you!
