problems converting

When trying to convert from dvd to avi it completes the action but when i go open the files they are pixelated and the audio is messed up. any ideas? also when doing this is doesnt make it into one complete file it leaves them as 5 or 6 seperate files. is there a remedy? thank you

The DVD loaded several files to your system. since it loaded several files each file is a separate download. Also, check the bitrate of what you are converting to and from. If you are converting to a higher bitrate or to a larger screen size it could cause the other issue you are having.
