Ok, as most of you know, DRM blocks "hook" drivers from capturing the audio, which is more then likely the problem with windows vista in some cases, and IS the case with Windows 7. Well, I found a simple work-around for this issue, and it is so simple it will blow your mind!

If you really think about it, DRM (at least in windows 7) is designed to block hook drivers from the audio out, but leaves the audio in (a.k.a. mic) jacks alone. Which is why RVC would not pick up my sound card at all (I'm running windows 7 btw), but it DID pick up my mic and recorded that while tring to cap a show.

So, what I did is I used a headset splitter (a cable that allows two headsets to be plugged into one headphone jack) and had my speakers hooked up to one and a cable from the other one to the mic jack. Then I set RVC to record audio from the mic jack and "VOILA!" you can now record audio.

The only thing you may have to do is adjust your mic settings so you dont get either too soft of audio or distorted audio from the volume being set to high.

Have fun and enjoy!
