Continuous crackling noise on playback

All finished recordings are spoilt by a continuous crackling sound during playback. I am a first time user, installed today
Any help/suggestions would be most welcome.

In order to assist with this we need to know what program you are using. We have several. Also, it might be more beneficial for you if you ask this in the forum for the particular program that is giving you the problem.
