Russian TV Conversion Problem

I regularly download and convert videos from many Russian TV websites - with no problems. In late-December, one of theses websites, Rossiya/RTR-Vesti (www.vesti.ru), changed the format (video codec, perhaps) of the videos it posts to its website. While the downloaded video plays normally using the FLV Player, it doesn't convert properly.

Here are two examples of relatively short videos I tried in vain to convert:

Any advice would be much appreciated.

With regards to this issue, I'd like to gather a little more info so we can troubleshoot this issue for you.

1.) What version of Replay Converter are you using?

2.) What program are you using to RECORD from this site.

3.) What file format(s) are you trying to convert these recorded files to?

1) I use Replay Converter v 2.80 for video conversion.
2) I use Replay Media Catcher v 3.01 to record the videos.
3) I was trying to convert the videos to WMV (450 Kbps), which is the same format I've be converting to for the past year or so.
