RMC5 Freezes Immediately When Trying To Start Recording

Using the demo version of 5.0.1.24 and 5.0.0.99, RMC5 immediately freezes and shows up as "Not Responding" whenever I clicked the start button. I can't close RMC or kill the process when it becomes like this, and am forced to restart my laptop to close it. I'm running Windows 8.1, and disabled Secure Boot in case that was affecting the software. I was using RMC4, which works perfectly, and I have tried re-installing RMC5 multiple times. Help?

Please un-install ALL versions of Replay Media Catcher from your PC.

Once this is done, reboot your PC (this is important) and re-install the LATEST version of RMC from here: http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher/demo.php
