I have a setup where TV is sent to my computer via digisender, which feeds into a Director's cut box and then into the pc via a firewire port. At the moment I'm capturing video via a program called Virtual VCR which isn't bad but it will only record in 4:3 aspect ratio.

Is there a way to channel video into an Applian component via firewire, please?
