MP3 speed changer

I listen to a lot of audio seminars, webinars and trainings. Is there a way to convert the MP3s to play at a faster speed so that I can listen to say an hour of audio in 30 or 45 minutes.

I don't think there is a feature for this yet but this is a nice idea. Especially when dealing with tutorial audio files.

Actually you can. Open the VLC Media Player. Open the media file you wish to play back. Go to the Playback tag. Click on "Faster".
