m4a are iTunes files. If the file is DRM protected You can use Replay Music to convert it to a mp3 format. Use you iTunes Media Player and, play it while RM is running and, RM will capture the sound as mp3....Now, if you wanna convert tons of m4a files...your gonna have to try a 3rd party app named Tunebite.

    Kind Regards.

Replay Media Catcher now has a built in Converter. If you own 3.01 or newer, you should automatically get the update next time you start Replay Media Catcher.

    Hi Andy

Okay, I just received the update however, there is no .avi (DiVX/XviD) format available in the converter list, which is the most popular format. And, when I select "more formats.."
it refers me to try Replay converter 3.20 only thing is, I have that installed so, what do I do?

Does it work on these sites yet?:

    comedy central site?
    PornTube site?...

    Kind Regards.

    Default new converter

My media catcher downloaded the new converter, I rebooted and tried to convert .mp4a to mp3. It went through the files, but result was a bunch of 0kb mp3 files.

I rebooted again and tried again to convert .mp4a to mp3 (optimal). Again, 0 kb mp3 files were the result.

Some sites protect the mp4a files from being converted....please follow the advice on this Post.
better yet, please post the link to the mp4a file (if this file your trying to convert is iTunes file do not post...give the above suggestion a try.)

    Kind Regards.

Yes it will. Simply drag & drop the files you want converted to the RC windows and, click on convert it to mp3/wave.

the converter tool was updated to address the m4a -> mp3 problem. I accidentally left something out.
