vedio history recorder tool does not work

it has taken me 3hrs to find some way of posting on this site. :( i don't know if i am in the right place to post?
I can not get the Freecorder 4 video recorder to work on FF 15.0.1 or on IE9 any more . it only worked 1 time on 7/12/12 and and that's it. But I am keeping this version because the audio recorder still works. Upgrading to another version is a monster of a hassle. you get a ton of junk which comes with the upgrade.
I have given up trying to get help from Applian way.
I hope somebody sees this?
