RMC 4 and facebook video

I have been using RMC 4 for ages, and I cannot get it to record videos on facebook. RMC does not see anything happening at all when the video plays. I open RMC first, then open the page on facebook, then play the video - nothing!
I've tried using Firefox 14.0.1 and Internet Explorer 9.
Is RMC perhaps only able to capture video on public facebook pages? Maybe my problem is that the only facebook pages I ever look at (or am interested in) are pages that you have to be friends with to see.

I run Windows 7 64 Home Premium, RMC 4.4.4.0
