However, if I paste one of these PLS URLs into ReplayAV 8.83 and "Tune to Station" nothing plays. (Though if I download the PLS file and paste one of the URLs from it into ReplayAV it plays fine.)

I would expect ReplayAV to be able to play/record a PLS file directly (no rocket science required) but it doesn't seem to work. Should it?

I little more testing shows that ReplayAV will record from a PLS URL, even though it can't "tune" to it. This is good news, since recording is more important to me than playing. Still, why won't it play the live stream?

Wow-thanks for all the work you did in getting these. Our Media Guide guru, Chad, has updated all of the CBC stations. They both tune and stream.

Also, for at least the 3 stations I've tried (Radio 1 Vancouver & Victoria and Radio 2 Pacific) you can replace the "_H.pls" at the end of the URL with "_L.pls" to get a lower bitrate stream. For the mono Radio 1 streams this gave me a file about 60% the size of the "_H.pls" streams, which is more than good enough quality for my needs.
