Black screen when recording

I am trying to capture from

while the video is captured, the "captured" Video is black even thought the area on the screen has been defined. I have recently installed a microphone as I am running under XP. How can I capture both audio and video?

I just tested the video and was able to get it to record without an issue. See what happens if you disable your mic. Also, try it with MPEG 2.
