Problems with software

I am having downloading problems with youtube. I often start a playlist and allow it to run and it only pics up a few of the videos. Also I cannot put a minimum download less than 1024kbs. Thirdly I get a lot of duplicates of one file download.
Any suggestions.

I think the duplicates are streams of different size/quality, you can just stop and delete them and leave the one you like downloading. I get this when i download a stream in which I can pick different qualities and one with commercials.

As for the other two questions I have no idea.
