RMC4 Stuttering and Duration Too Long

When I record live video the resultant FLV file has a duration way longer than the video I recorded (e.g., the video may be 1.5 minutes but when I play it is 33 minutes) and the video stutters (stops and starts).

What gives?

I have this stuttering problem too with mfc. I've tried so many options. v4.4.3
i've recorded on do not convert. (saves as flv)
i've recorded on many conversion settings. all the same stutter and time problem.

the video always stutters or freezes, plus the time is always off making it so you basically can't fast forward or rewind or jump to certain time spots.

the ONLY time this problem doesn't happen is when the MFC stream is muted (no audio being recorded, only video). the time on the no audio videos is always correct, and i can jump forward and back in the video time.

i have my settings at "always record (don't download)" but i've tried pretty much every combination of settings in this program and cannot fix this issue.

please help. this seems to be an issue with others as well.
