Hi,

I have a regular PC (Dell, a couple of years old, XP pro).

I installed the application, captures video, but doesn't capture the audio. A few pop up messages appeared about the audio, I clicked thru them and it said everything was OK - however, still no audio.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi

I would like you to go into the Settings of RV Capture by clicking the "Settings" button, then click the "Audio Setup/Test button."

We are interested in what is listed under the Audio Sources. Is there anything there besides the Universal Audio Driver?

If so, when each of the other options are selected, is there a "Wave," "Stereo Mix," "What-U-Hear" or anything along those lines listed under "Audio Inputs" (The colum just to the right)? For example, My Audio Inputs says Stereo Mix, Line-In, Microphone and a few others..

Looking forward to your response.

Replay Video - Auto Test
Audio Recording Source:
Realtek HD Audio Input
Realtek HD Digital input
USB Internet Phone by Tiger.... can't read the rest

"Univesal Audio Driver" is not there.

Realtek HD Audio Input = stereo mix, line volume, mic volume
Realtek HD Digital input = blank,SPDIF
USB internet phone by tiger... = blank, handset.

It is set on: Realtek HD audio input = stereo mix

When I hit the test button, the two green bars on replay video capture make a beep beep beep sound and the green bars move up and down.

Thank you for the help.

Hi Jeff. Like the previous user in this thread, I have recently upgraded my software from Applian and was pleased to see Video Capture included in the suite. I am using Windows XP. Unfortunately I am unable to record/hear the audio accompanying the video. I've tried everything I can think of to see if I can record audio but haven't been successful. Here ae my settings

HD audio capture. Stereo Mix

When I do the audio test here are the results

Cannot detect the speaker sound but audio sources were found. *

Try to record this way or see double shooting under TOOLS

I've tried to record but it doesn't work. Ive tried the options under tools including the UAD. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
