There are some freeware programs available that will allow unattended scheduled recording of Sirius XM streams using Replay AV. XMTuner and SiriusWM6 WIN32 can play the streams and produce URLs that can be entered into Replay AV for recording. You can simply open the stream and start your recording and return when it is finished. Or you can open the stream by timer using one of the freeware programs available. WinScheduler works well. You have to create three macros: one to open the program, one to select a tab and another to select the channel to record/listen to. If you want to turn the stream off when your recording is finished you will need two more macros to do so.

These programs will play the stream without closing for inactivity on your computer. I have tested XMTuner for 4 1/2 hours.

The macros are easy to create. The second and third should be scheduled to follow the previous one a minute later. All three should be scheduled at least 3 minutes before your scheduled recording time. The most difficult part is getting the timer to work. When you have created the macros you save them together. When you are ready to use them you will have to open the file. You can then close it. But it must show in the task bar. The icon looks like an alarm clock. WinScheduler will open the program and begin the stream at the scheduled time.
